Iconic Canadian rock band Prism comes to Langley

They've sold millions of albums, with songs that have become standards — Spaceship Superstar, Take Me to the Kaptin, Flying, Armageddon, Take Me Away, Young & Restless, Night to Remember, Don’t Let Him Know — and now, fans in Langley can relive the best of Canadian classic rock, with Prism at Cascades Casino on Oct. 20.

Having produced 13 albums, and performed thousands of concerts, Prism is also the recipient of multiple awards, including the Juno for Group of the Year (1981), SOCAN Song of the Year (1980) for Night to Remember, a Juno nomination for Song of the Year (1981) for Young and Restless as well as well as the Juno for Producer of the year (1981) for Armageddon.

They were even featured by NASA, when their song Spaceship Superstar was chosen as the official song aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery during its historic final flight.

Now fronted by Vancouver’s own Al "Harlow" Hawirko, the longest-standing member of the band, Prism is made up of Vancouverite Tad Goddard (bass/vocals), Marc Gladstone (keyboards/vocals) and Gary Grace (drums).
