Jazz up your Valentine’s Day at lelem Arts & Culture Café

Reservations recommended as Fort Langley eatery presents Dave Quinn and special guest Sibel Thrasher on Feb. 14

Love is on the menu this Valentine’s Day at lelem´ Arts & Cultural Café in Fort Langley, with a special night of live jazz and blues featuring the legendary singer Sibel Thrasher.

As both a singer and actress, Thrasher enjoys a respected career in music, theatre, film, and television.

She was inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame and Starwalk on the sidewalks of Vancouver’s Theatre Row for her lifelong contribution to the arts and music.

Thrasher will be the featured guest of Dave Quinn of RazzMaJazz for a Valentine’s Day jazz night at lelem´.

The riverfront café has been featuring Saturday Night Jazz and Blues since last fall.

“I’ve enjoyed bringing in a range of talented musicians each week from jazz and blues vocalists, to great instrumental jazz artists,” said Quinn.

“Lelem´ is the perfect venue in Fort Langley for live jazz and blues, being it’s an arts and cultural café that is accessible to all ages.”

The cafe will offer a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two for $50.

A new menu, featuring organic cuisine with a First Nation twist, is also available.

There is no cover charge, but reservations are recommended.

“Whether your Valentine is a close friend, spouse, mother-in-law, daughter or cousin, lelem´ is the perfect place to enjoy a night of great music and food with someone special,” said Rocky Nenka, manager of lelem´ Arts & Cultural Café.
