When Robin Williams notices your comedy act, you know you’re doing something different.
Langley’s Simon King brings his comedy act home for a show May 5.
Tickets are $10 at the door of Gabby’s Country Cabaret. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. sharp.
It’s been two years since King has performed in Langley. But he’s been busy.
King’s CV includes performances at the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, the Seattle International Comedy Competition, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Edmonton Comedy Festival, the Calgary Comedy Festival, the Moncton Comedy Festival, Tthe Vancouver International Comedy Festival, the NorthWest Comedy Fest, the Kuala Lumpur Comedy Fest, Virgin Music Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival. There’s also been shows with the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the HBO, TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas
Joining King will be veteran comic Steve McGowan.
