Langley band hosts charity concert

Little India has goal of raising $10,000 for Mealshare

Langley band Little India is hosting a charity show tonight (Oct. 22) to benefit non-profit, Mealshare.

The indie-rock group, which is currently a finalist in the PEAK Performance project, is partnering up with the organization to provide meals to hungry school children in Vancouver.

Their goal is to raise $10,000 to feed breakfast to 2,000 children for one school week.

Also performing at the show are BESTIE and Art & Ocean.

Proceeds from all tickets sales, Mealshare items sold, Little India merchandise sold, and Little India's new acoustic EP will go to the non-profit.

The show begins at 6:30 p.m. at Portside in Gastown, Vancouver.

Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/music-feeds-the-kids-tickets-18718400239.
