Dances for a Small stage will feature a new solo work by Langley dancer/choreographer Julianne Chapple. The show will be staged from Sept. 12 to 14 in Vancouver.

An unconventional new stage is set for Vancouver’s popular contemporary dance series. The 29th edition of Dances for a Small Stage offers an intrepid showcase of artistic talent —including a Québec City protégé — and features a new solo work by Langley dancer/choreographer, Julianne Chapple.

Dances for a Small Stage 29 makes its debut installation at the Ukrainian Centre on E. 10th at Main Street from Sept. 12-14.

In addition to presenting some of Vancouver’s hottest young artists on its landmark 10’ by 13’ stage, Small Stage 29 marks the beginning of a sister series in Québec City.

In celebration of the new venue, Dances for a Small Stage 29 has partnered with the Ukrainian Centre to sell their perogies and sausages.
