Langley singer Jeannette Petkau presents Unshakable — a worship and concert night — on Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Fort Langley Evangelical Free Church.

Pekau, who lives in Walnut Grove, will be accompanied by her band as she sings selections from her album Unshakable.

She will also be joined by special guest musicians — Judy Lou, cello, and Plonia Paetkau, flute — as well as an interpretive worship dance group.

Petkau’s hope is to see the community and churches come together  that evening.

“I believe we need to come together and be ‘unshakable’ in our faith and witness in this world,” she said.

“My prayer would be that this will draw us closer together and to God.”

This concert will also help in extending her ministry and mission into Mexico in March.

There will be a meet and greet after the concert.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

They are available at Blessings in Langley, House of James in Abbotsford and online with Eventbrite.ca.

Concert beings at 7 p.m. doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Fort Langley Evangelical Free Church is located at 8870 Glover Rd., Fort Langley, B.C.
