Surrey Little Theatre (SLT) is holding auditions for the Canadian premiere of The Last Lifeboat on Feb. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m.
They are looking for men and women of all ages and levels of experience, with some actors playing multiple roles. The audition will be a cold read from material that is not from the script.
The Last Lifeboat, written by Luke Yankee and directed by Dale Kelly, tells the historically untold, true story of the Titanic and the builder J. Bruce Ismay, of the White Star Line. The play deals not only with the disaster itself, but the sensationalized trials and the aftermath of an event that changed the world forever.
