From January to April, Calgary artist Lauren Mann did a 65-date solo tour from coast to coast in Canada, then went directly to The Vanguard Room in Lakeland, Fla. to spend two months working on a brand new album.
This summer, Mann will be back on the road, this time with a backing band, The Fairly Odd Folk, touring from B.C. to Newfoundland, and back again.
The Summer of Colour Tour kicks off June 9 at Broken City in Calgary and arrives in Langley on Wednesday, June 15, with a performance at the Murrayville Wired Monk. The show starts at 7 p.m. and there is no cover fee.
