Monumental Theatre is debuting its first full-length, all-original musical at D.W. Poppy Secondary this weekend.
UGLY: The Other, Other Cinderella Story follows Cinderella’s ugly step-sisters, Imogen and Maxine, and their journey to find who they are.
Directed by Annastasia Unger, Joanna Unger and Lauren Trotzuk, the play tells a story of love, bravery, acceptance and inner-strength, as the girls come to realize that not every happy ending looks the same.
Ugly has four shows at Poppy on Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 24 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
