The Fort Gallery is teaming up with students from Trinity Western University to host an honours exhibition.
From March 8 to April 1, art students Rachel Voth and Sarah Wright will show Field Notes, an exploration of place and unearthing of stories buried under everyday life.
“Through maps of lived experience these works weave narratives into cloudscapes and urban dystopias, reminiscent of the places that inspired them,” the Fort Gallery said in a press release.
“Rachel Voth and Sarah Wright’s work asks how the spaces we inhabit have been influenced by our personal histories, connecting and exploring these ideas through 2D and 3D form.”
The opening reception will be held on March 8 at 7 p.m.
The Fort Gallery, located at 9048 Glover Rd., is open Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
