This weekend, Newlands Bar & Grill will be rockin' to Brown Eyed Girl in true Van Morrison style.
The Morrison Project, a tribute band to the music of Van Morrison, is playing this Friday and Saturday night (Oct. 23 and 24).
The chemistry and energy from the band is contagious, according to drummer Brad Dirks, as crowds dance the night away to popular hits Gloria, Domino, Moondance and Into the Mystic.
Made up of band members James Minchau on vocals, Trevor Saunders on guitar, Mark Cole on bass, Brad Dirks on drums, Dave Cole on keyboard and Randy Morrison on horns, their interactive and spontaneous nature makes for a genuine, "feel-good" performance.
The Morrison Project will be playing both Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
