Langley Township fire halls invite in the public

The annual open houses are Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

Langley Township fire halls are throwing open their doors this week, not because of the heatwave but to welcome in residents.

The annual open houses are Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and give people a chance to learn about the operations of the fire department, check out the trucks and equipment, and learn about fire safety.

People can meet their Township firefighters and are being encourged to share their pictures from their visits.

The open houses on Tuesday are at the fire halls in Aldergrove, Brookswood, Murrayville, and Otter.

On Wednesday, people can check out the hall in Fort Langley,Willoughby, and Walnut Grove.
