National Aboriginal Day celebrations in Douglas Park brought together a few hundred people.

The Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society organized the June 25 celebration, sharing aboriginal teachings, cultural presentations, community groups, and a variety of free family activities and aboriginal vendors.

The community also had NAD activities at the Fort Langley National Historic Site the previous weekend. NAD falls on June 21, the summer solstice.
