There’s a reason why it’s called legendary.
The Langley City Legendary Waterfight is the annual battle royale at the Al Anderson Memorial Pool.
Where else for $5 can kids of all ages use their Supersoakers and pool noodles to go up against the fire truck hoses of Langley City Fire Rescue.
Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, the battle rages for three hours. Each year features a different theme and pool staff keep a watchful eye on the soggy mayhem.
The pool is at 4949 207th St. and there’s a bleacher section for spectators although there are no guarantees they stay dry.
