Langley Mounties are looking for the man who held up a 7-Eleven in Brookswood early Wednesday morning.

The thief entered the store at about 3:30 a.m. and brandished a weapon at the clerk. He took a small amount of money and fled.

No one was injured in the robbery, said Sgt. Alex Mulvihill, a spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The weapon was not a gun, but police are holding back the detail on exactly what the thief used.

The robber is about 40 years old, slim, and was wearing a brown hoodie and dark baggy pants.

Anyone with information can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
