The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill at Highstreet Shopping Centre is the official local watch party location for games one and two of the Abbotsford Canucks vs. Coachella Valley Firebirds Pacific Division semi-final.
The club announced watch party plans on Wednesday (April 30) ahead of game one in the California desert on Thursday (May 1).
The Canucks stated that the watch parties will include ticket and merchandise giveaways, a live DJ and an in-game host for the festivities. All interested are asked to RSVP at ticket.abbotsfordcanucks.ca/playoff-watch-parties.
Looks like the @abbycanucks will be planning @TheAHL playoff watch parties for the second round of the playoffs.

The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill is located at 3122 Mt. Lehman Rd. on the west side of Highstreet. The establishment opened its doors in 2016 and is a two-level unit with approximately 180 seats and a roof-top patio. The Abbotsford location was the second B.C. location when it opened. The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill brand entered the market with a location in Edmonton in 2002 and has expanded in the decades that followed.
Abbotsford Canucks fans in Vancouver also have a watch party for the games planned at The Lamplighter Public House (92 Water St. Similar activities will occur at that locations.
Just because the team is on the road, doesn't mean there's no Abby Canucks Hockey‼️

This marks the first time that the Abbotsford Canucks have hosted watch parties. The club did host Vancouver Canucks watch parties inside the Abbotsford Centre during Vancouver's playoff journey last year.
Fans can also watch the games on the FloHockey app, but that comes with a monthly or annual fee. Games will also be broadcast on the radio on Sportsnet 650.
The Firebirds and Canucks play game one on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then game two goes down on Saturday (May 3) at 6 p.m. The series then shifts to Abbotsford for game three on Wednesday (May 7). Games four and five, if necessary, occur on Friday (May 9) and Sunday (May 11). All games in Abbotsford begin at 7 p.m.
The Canucks eliminated the Tucson Roadrunners in three games in round one, while the Firebirds swept the Wranglers. The two teams met four times this season, with Coachella Valley winning three of those games. Abbotsford defeated Coachella Valley 4-1 in California the last time the two teams met on April 18.
