Corvettes converge on longtime Langley auto dealership

The 15th annual Corvette Show & Shine is Monday, Sept. 4.

The Labour Day holiday Monday brings together Corvette owners for the 15th annual Corvette Show & Shine at Preston Chevrolet from noon to 5 p.m.

Held in partnership with the British Columbia Corvette Club, the show features more than 100 Corvettes and other classic GM vehicles at the dealership on the Langley Bypass.

Admission is free for the public. There will also be music, food trucks, and more.

Then as the sun sets, Preston hosts a drive-in movie for GM vehicles, screening The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. People wanting to attend the movie must register in advance at drivein@prestongm.com with your name, year and model of GM vehicle, and and number of attendees. The cost is $10 per vehicle.

The evening will include representatives from local sports organizations, including Vancouver Stealth, Langley Rivermen and Vancouver Giants. Meet some of the players, coaches and mascots.

The Preston GM Langley Football Club will be on site with league information and selling raffle tickets on a new Chevy Cruze hatchback.
