A Heart tribute rocks Cascades Casino next Thursday, May 25.

Heart’s run to fame began in Canada, so it is fitting that Canada’s own Barracuda brings their music to life with style, presence and a true passion for the songs that are beloved classics to fans worldwide, said show promoter Rob Warwick of Rock-It Boy Entertainment.

“With meticulous attention to detail barracuda - The Essential Tribute to Heart brings out all the subtle nuances of the original,” Warwick said.

The group is led by D.L. Car (Almost Ann), a four-octave vocal powerhouse and dedicated Ann Wilson purist.

Her talents extend to the flute and guitar, fully authenticating the Ann Wilson persona.

D.L. is supported by the “multi-talented” Brenda Kashmir (Nearly Nancy) who brings her love for the music of Heart to life with guitar, mandolin, and vocals, Warwick elaborated.

“The ladies’ electric chemistry on stage is superbly supported by three professionally seasoned musicians dedicated to providing an authentic musical experience,” he said.

“But, more than just a band playing Heart’s music, Barracuda – The Essential Tribute to Heart, delivers a tribute to Heart’s history, writing, arranging, and musicianship from Dreamboat Annie (1976) to Brigade (1990) and just about everything in between.”

In fact, Roger Fisher, guitarist and founding member of Heart, has officially endorsed Barracuda.

With Heart’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2013), demand to see the group perform has never been higher, Warwick explained.

He calls this the next best thing.

“Barracuda is the most accurate representation of Heart to date, delighting audiences from coast to coast in North America with what is the essential tribute to one of the best rock bands of our time.”
