Mary Foote (Hughes, Davies)

October 25, 1915 – December 18, 2020
Your smile is forever in our hearts.
Edith (Clarence), Michael (Ale), Mattias, Amy, Krista (Patrick).
This poem was written by her brother Bill Hughes in Aug. 1934:
Tis easy enough to be pleasant
When life flows by – like a song
But the one worthwhile is the one who will smile
When everything goes – dead wrong.
The test of the heart is trouble, and that only comes with years
And the one that’s worth all the praises on earth
Is the one, who will smile through tears.
That’s you, Mary dear.
