About five years ago, Tracey Ehman felt a need to share the story of her diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer, and the life journey that had started four years earlier.

A year ago, she decided that she wanted to “bring together other women who faced a cancer diagnosis or were the loved one of someone who was on that journey.”

The result has been “The Silver Lining of Cancer,” launched and available on Amazon last month.

“My vision is to get this book into the hands of people around the globe,” Ehman said: “cancer support groups, hospital waiting rooms, anywhere that will make a difference.”

She expressed the belief that those stories would inspire people to search for silver linings in their own difficult circumstances.

“If we can bring a smile or some insight realized from our journeys,” she felt, “then we will have made a difference.”
