Aldergrove’ve Fibromyalgia Well Spring Foundation Thrift Store is moving this weekend.

On Saturday, Feb. 17, dozens of community members are coming out to help the store move from its to-be demolished site on 272nd Avenue to its new home at 27540 Fraser Hwy., shared executive director and founder Cheryl Young.

“The community has stepped up, and they’re just amazing,” she told the Langley Advance Times.

Young gave credit to a local electrician who did the wiring and painting at the new location for its brand new look.

“It’s really coming along. Every day it looks better,” she commented.

At 2,700 square feet, with an open plan, the new space will be bigger and better laid-out for the growing store.

Young said she is grateful for the community’s help in the store’s move.

“It’s a wonderful community, that’s why we wanted to stay – we’re here for them and they’re here for us. We are very thankful to Aldergrove,” she said.

The store is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at its new location, and donations will be accepted there starting the same day.
