For a fifth year in a row, Murrayville's Saran family is collaborating with Santa to raise funds for the Canucks Autism Network.
On a Christmas tree farm in Aldergrove, Santa visits for photos with an optional donation, and all funds go towards CAN, explained Sherry Saran, mom of the family and local realtor.
At the Alpine Christmas Tree Farm, there will be a food truck, firefighters with the Langley Township fire department, and Langley RCMP members.
For every plate sold by Veronica's Perogies, $5 will go towards the charity.
A professional photographer will be taking photos with Santa, who has donated her time each year for the event, Saran said.
She noted that the tree farm is donating the space for the event as well.
"They will also be selling Christmas trees that day," Saran added.
It will likely be the first Christmas tree sale for the farm since the new owners took it over a few years ago, since the trees take time to mature.
"[The trees] aren't there yet, they will next year. So, they ordered a whole lot of trees to sell that day of our event," Saran shared.
People must book a time slot ahead of the event for photos with Santa, but they will receive a five-by-seven complimentary print or digital copy of the photo.
"It can be their pets, the adults, or kids," Saran said, noting one year someone brought their horse for Santa pictures.
The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, at the farm on 4726 248 St.
