Two local women learned the hard way that leaving a purse in a vehicle can lead to big headaches.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Houston Trail on April 11.

The woman who used the credit card is described as Caucasian, in her mid 30’s, 5’5” tall, dark hair in a ponytail and she was wearing tights, a pink shirt and a workout coat.

On May 9, another vehicle and another purse stolen.

“The owner’s purse was taken from the vehicle along with a sweater, blue and green rugby cleats,” Largy said.

A stolen credit card was then used at the Brookswood 7-Eleven.

The RCMP has released photos related to these two incidents and several others in the community.
