Langley School District announced that all schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 3 due to snow that fell on Sunday and overnight.
The district office in Murrayville and all daycares and early learning programs on school property are also closed for the day, the district announced on its website. Facility rentals for Langley school facilities are cancelled for the day.
Several private schools in Langley were also closed for the day, including Langley Christian School, Credo Christian High School and Elementary School, and St. Catherine's Elementary.
At the post-secondary level, Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Langley and Cloverdale Tech campuses were both set to be closed until noon. At Trinity Western University, the campus remained open, but in-person classes were being moved online for the day.
