There were goals galore on Monday night as the Pacific Junior Hockey League's (PJHL) top players hit the ice in Port Coquitlam.
Players were competing at the PJHL All-Star game, which was hosted at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.
And when the final whistle sounded, the Tom Shaw Conference prevailed with a score of 6-5 over the Harold Brittain Conference.
The final shots where 44-38 in favour of the Shaw Conference.
David Yoon (N. Van.) with assistance from Andrew Castello (N. Van.) scored first for the Shaw Conference, followed by Brittain Conference's Hudson Koch (Abbotsford) who tied the score with assistance from Pierce Whyte (Ridge Meadows) and Rhett Siaus (Abbotsford).
Nicholas Noren (Richmond) kicked off second period with a goal just over one minute into the period for Shaw, followed by another tied goal by Brittain's Thomas Williams (Abbotsford).
Brittain took the lead 10 minutes into second period with a goal by Drew Dornan (Abbotsford), follow by Shaw's Colin Jang (Delta) with a goal just a few minutes after.
Connor Jarvis (Abbotsford) put the Brittain Conference in the lead before second period ended with a goal at 15:05.
Third period started strong with a goal 47 seconds in by Lukas Ravenstein (Ridge Meadows) for the Brittain Conference, gaining a two goal lead over Shaw.
But Shaw players Tye Hemenway (Delta) and Connor Hughes (Port Moody) tied the game by the end of third.
Determined to wrap up the game on a win, Shaw's Mateo Sjoberg (Delta) scored the winning goal just 16 seconds into overtime.
Aldergrove Kodiaks were represented by forward Luke Calder, while Langley Trappers had goaltender Dwayne Paul Cruz.
