Are you looking for a fun family event in Langley that will bring the community together and help make the summer last?
Willoughby Town Centre is excited to announce the return of Willoughby DAYZ on Saturday, Sept. 10!
Featuring a variety of entertainment and attractions, a fun ‘passport’ to prizes, in-store specials at selected Willoughby Town Centre businesses and much more, this event offers something for everyone to enjoy!
“After a two-year hiatus because of COVID we’re very excited to be able to bring the sixth annual Willoughby DAYZ back to the community!” says Willoughby’s Tracey Ehman.
Willoughby Town Centre is the Fraser Valley’s only master planned, pedestrian focused, socially active retail, commercial and multi-family development, situated in the heart of the Langley Township’s fast growing Willoughby Community.
Brought to you by the Willoughby Town Centre businesses, Willoughby DAYZ runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and includes the following:
- face painting
- magician
- balloon twister
- glitter tattoos
- crazy hair station
- food samples
- games and prizes
- in-store specials at selected businesses
Pick up one passport per family at participating businesses, and walk around and visit each business to get it stamped. (Businesses with a FREE SPACE do no require a stamp). Once you’ve completed your ‘passport’ and filled out the information on the back, drop it off at G&F Financial for a chance to win a prize!
The participating businesses have donated over $2,000 in gift cards, and gift bags and baskets, with the draw for prizes taking place on Sept. 12.
“The Willoughby Community is a great place to live, work and play, with so many convenient walking destinations,” Ehman says. “Willoughby DAYZ is a fantastic opportunity to introduce all the businesses to the community, including some of our new businesses that will be opening in the fall and winter!”
The community is encouraged to walk over to the centre, but for those who can’t, there is additional parking behind the new building on the North side with access off 208th Street.
