Join the Westcoast Moulding and Millwork team Friday and Saturday for their 11th annual sale.

If you have a home project or renovation on your summer to-do list, this ultimate “spring cleaning” sale is a must!

Westcoast Moulding and Millwork hosts its 11th annual sale this Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9, offering quality, over-stock product at savings of up to 80 per cent off.

“We have customers asking about the sale all year,” general manager John Hutton says with a smile. “Once we’ve gone through the year-end inventory, the sale allows us to create room for new products, and say thank you to our customers and community. It’s really becoming quite well-known throughout the Lower Mainland.”

And while their name may say moulding and millwork – they are the local leaders, in this respect – in fact, you’ll find finishing products and materials for just about every part of your home. From crown moulding, trim and wainscotting to black metal spindles, interior and exterior doors, and vinyl flooring, the store has “anything to finish the construction of your home,” Hutton explains.

Quality and knowledge spur growth

Westcoast Moulding and Millwork was founded in 1990 with five people and a wealth of industry experience. Many of those original employees are still in store today, sharing their knowledge with homeowners, contractors, designers – any and all who are looking for exceptional, local finishing options for their projects, Hutton explains.

“It’s our people who make the difference,” he says. “We have the most knowledgeable staff in the industry, bar none. They’re real professionals.”

The business has continued to grow over the years, expanding to its current location in Port Kells about 15 years ago, with millwork manufacturing and the stair division right on-site, in addition to the large retail store – a 50,000-square-foot facility in all, with a staff of more than 50 employees.

From its design team and millwork shop come industry-leading trim profiles, with options to suit everything from traditional homes to the most modern designs. Its new Westcoast Classic Collection, for example, is equally suited to both a Craftsman home and a contemporary condo.

“We take pride in the manufacturing of our products and we take the time and care to make sure it’s done right,” Hutton says. “Because of that, word of mouth has gotten us where we are. We feel it says a lot about our company.”
