The Downtown Langley Business Association hosts the McBurney Plaza Summer Series July 8, 15 and 22.

One of Downtown Langley's favourite summer series returns next week with a full lineup of exciting, family-friendly performances.

Hosted by the Downtown Langley Business Association from 6 to 8 p.m. July 8, 15 and 22, the McBurney Plaza Summer Series opens July 8 with His | Hers, a husband-and-wife musical duo blending jazz, folk, acoustic and African influences into a rich, soulful sound, and Cassandra Maze – soulful, stylish and effortlessly compelling.

“We are very excited to bring the McBurney Plaza Summer Series to the heart of downtown Langley again this year," says Chris Parsons, DLBA Executive Director. "We chose to have them on Tuesday evenings this year because we saw this as an opportunity to jump start people’s week with some amazing live music!”

The exceptional talent is a key element to the series' enduring success – view this summer's full list of stellar performers at downtownlangley.com – but audiences will also enjoy the music from a recently refreshed McBurney Plaza. The DLBA is excited to welcome everyone to experience the renovated plaza, including the eye-catching umbrella art installation all summer, thanks to the City of Langley!
