Did someone say shopping, food trucks and live entertainment? Yup we sure did!
For the third time, Shannon Ross will bring together a variety of shopping and food vendors with live entertainment for the women of Greater Vancouver to enjoy at the Vancity Women’s Expo. With her 22 years of dedicated experience organizing large-scale events, this year is sure to be fun for everyone!
“I started planning exhibitions because I love connecting people, and this is an amazing way to do that. These events have helped launch so many new, local businesses,” Ross says about the driving force behind her dedicated work. “It’s such a popular event and certainly something to look forward to for so many different people!”
Women of Greater Vancouver from all walks of life will certainly have a reason to visit the event with more than 140 pop-up vendors attending throughout the weekend.
Some familiar favourites will also be on scene, such as The Vancouver Fashion Truck, “Vancouver’s women’s clothing shop on wheels.” The truck-turned-clothing-outlet, affectionately known as “Greta the Grumman” by her locally born and raised Vancouverite owner Meghan, will be onsite all weekend long.
Shopping not your thing? Fear not as this year’s exhibition will also include a variety of talented speakers, including local health and wellness coaches, naturopathic doctors, herbalists and holistic nutrition experts. Q&A sessions will follow their presentations, so be ready with your questions! Rachel Chatoor, another locally born and raised Vancouver resident will delight exhibition goers with her musical talents on Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Friday night fashion show is also back and kicks things off at 7 p.m. sharp – so don’t be late!

Early bird tickets are available online for $8 or $10 at the door day-of. (Insider tip: This is a popular event, so beat the line up and buy your tickets ahead of time!)
Doors open Friday evening at 4 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. (Fashion show at 7 p.m.!)
Over the weekend you can take in the event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
