Allard Dental Centre in Walnut Grove first opened back in 1992, and Dr. Fatemeh Basij, DDS , a dentist since 2006, came in 2018, to own, upgrade and operate this practice. A former Dental Instructor at UBC, Dr. Basij wanted to be in private practice most and, most importantly, she wanted to be able to provide personal care in Langley – the community she loves and the one she’s raising her own growing family in. Living in the community gives Dr. Basij and her staff a unique perspective on the demographic of the area and what is most relevant to people here in Langley.
“We want to treat every patient like they’re our own family,” Dr. Basij notes. “They’re more than patients, these are the people we share our community with.”
When not caring for clients, Dr. Basij enjoys spending time with family and friends, and taking advantage of the many outdoor recreational activities on offer. On a work day, she loves taking an outdoor break on the North West Langley Greenway that passes right past the practice.
Of course, having a busy two-year-old daughter means taking extra time on the weekends to enjoy everything that Langley has to offer. “There is just so much to do here, we love the parks, the community centres regional parks and visiting Fort Langley too!” Dr. Basij says.
