Another bank in Langley was robbed, this time police are releasing a picture of the suspect who stole from the Willowbrook CIBC on April 27.
The suspect walked into the 64 Avenue bank, produced a note, indicated he had a weapon and demanded money. He was given a sum of money and fled in an older model grey or brown van.
He was seen heading eastbound on 64 Avenue.
He is also accused of bank robberies in Abbotsford on May 5 and 7.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, six feet tall, 220 – 230 lbs., blue eyes, light strawberry coloured hair, with a bandaid on his nose, wearing dark jeans or sweat pants, a white T-shirt, a dark zip up hoodie, a dark hat with no logo and dark rimmed glasses.
Convicted murderer Shawn Merrick escaped prison on March 31 and has since robbed four banks in Langley. He has a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest but so far he continues to be on the lam.
