Crews were dealing with two separate accidents in Langley along Hwy 1 Monday morning (Nov. 10).
The first one happened around 7:30 a.m. eastbound before the 248 Street overpass.
A seriously injured victim was airlifted to hospital by helicopter.
A few minutes later westbound just east of 248 Street, there was a second crash involving four vehicles.
There were multiple injuries that were reported as relatively minor.
Traffic was backed up for several kilometres for hours.
