Langley RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman found dead in a pond in Campbell Valley Regional Park.

Officers were called to the park just before 3 p.m. Monday, May 29, after a group on a walk found the woman.

The RCMP E Division dive team recovered the body, and the B.C. Coroner’s Service has been called in to work with Langley Mounties on the investigation.

The woman is believed to have been in her 60s, but she did not have any identification on her person.

Foul Play is not suspected, said Cpl. Holly Largy, the spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

Investigators are currently trying to find out if the woman matches the description of anyone who has gone missing recently.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
