Abbotsford Police located a deceased man on a rural property in Abbotsford on Christmas Day.

Deceased man found on Christmas Day, does not appear to be suspicious

Abbotsford Police Patrol officers found human remains in a pond on a rural property in the 29700 block of MacLure Road on Christmas Day (Tuesday).

Officers were called to the scene at approximately 1:19 p.m. and located the deceased man shortly thereafter.

It does not appear to be a suspicious death at this time.

Abbotsford Police Patrol officers, Forensic Identification members, Major Crime detectives and BC Coroner Services all attended the scene.
