Members of the public are invited to have their say on a new development proposed for Fort Langley’s commercial core during an open house on April 20.

Lanstone Homes is holding the event for feedback on Lily Terrace, a mixed-use building proposed for four parcels of land fronting Church Street, Francis Avenue and Glover Road.

The building, which will have three distinct sections — The Young Building, Lily Terrace and the Sailes Block — is designed to have commercial space, 24 residential units and underground parking.

Lanstone homes is currently applying for a heritage alteration permit with the Township of Langley as the design includes a partial third floor with sloped gable roof lines.

The open house takes place Thursday, April 20 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fort Langley Community Hall, 9167 Glover Rd.
