A bullet was found on the school grounds of R.C. Garnett Elementary on Wednesday morning.

The live round was discovered by Langley's own She's A Valley Mom blogger and Langley Times columnist Kristyl Clark. She was dropping off her youngest daughter at Five Star Learning Centre preschool -- which is connected to RC Garnett -- when she made the scary discovery.

"I found it on the ramp leading into the preschool," said Clark.

"I brought it into the teacher and she brought it to the office," said Clark. "It is now with the school liaison officer."

The bullet appears to be for a .22 rifle.

Langley RCMP were unavailable for comment today but plan to provide further information on Thursday.
