The Langley RCMP are looking for a burglar who stole or damaged nearly everything in a local home while the owners were out of town.

The thieves broke in earlier this year and looted the house.

Items taken included cutlery, pots and pans, a coffee maker, electronics, TVs, computers, tools, the barbecue, clothing and a motorcycle. Most of the furniture, including a brown leather three-chair recliner set and a custom built table were also taken.

A Kawasaki motorcycle was among the stolen goods.

“Although the majority of the items are everyday type items that could easily be found in most of our homes, the sheer volume of items taken at one time stands out,” said Const. Craig van Herk, a spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The owners noted that some of their stolen items were marked with serial numbers that will aid police if any of the items turn up in the future.

Anyone who can help police locate the stolen items, or the thieves, can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
