Business owner Hee runs for Langley Township council

The local resident has campaigned for road safety in the past.

A man best known for starting a number of petitions on local issues is running for Langley Township council this year.

Gary Hee is a business owner and lives near the Surrey-Langley border.

Hee worked on the FightHST petition campaign in 2009 and started a petition against bridge tolls in 2017 and one for crosswalks at the corner of 72nd Avenue and 196th Street on the Surrey-Langley border in 2014.

His website said his platform includes communnity gardening, environmental protection, clean energy such as LED lighting and solar panels, and that he believes in co-op housing.
