City Q11: 20 Questions for Langley City Council candidates

Randy Caine (for Mayor)– Yes. With the City looking to increase its population from the current 25,000+ to 100-120,000+ over the next 20 yrs, ensuring we have green space available to meet the demands of a growing community is something that requires clear vision, strong leadership and proactive planning or we run the risk of creating a concrete jungle.

Nathan Pachal – Yes. The City has a good amount of green space today. I support enhancing our current parks, trails, Brydon Lagoon, and the Nicomekl floodplain, creating safe and enjoyable public spaces. I want to make our park system a point of a pride for our community.

It says they all exist in the Township of Langley and this needs to be corrected to read City of Langley!

Val van den Broek – Yes - We need to create community gardens, green friendly meeting areas and dog parks to implement positive community into negative community settings. We need to take back our City
