The project, called the Carvolth Trunk Sewer No. 2, is still plugging along and plugging up traffic – at least a bit – along 200th Street in Langley.
The project is expected to be completely done by autumn 2015.
The work involves the construction of a new sewer pipe along the right-of-way from Fraser Highway to 57A Avenue, along a portion of 57A, along 200 Street from 57A to Michaud Crescent, then along the BC Hydro right-of-way to 53 Avenue.
The City has partnered with Metro Van to do some upgrading of water, sanitary and storm water utilities that run beneath 200 Street between 50 Avenue and Fraser Highway.
Once the underground work is done, the full width of 200 Street will be repaved from 50 Avenue to Fraser Highway.
