Langley RCMP is attempting to reunite a couple with some cash they likely didn’t know they were donating last week.

On Saturday, Aug. 26, the couple (pictured) dropped offitems at a thrift store in Walnut Grove.

A Naturalizer shoe box containing shoes with little red odour balls was inside along with ankle nylons.

Also inside the box was an envelope filled with cash, said police. It’s likely the donors were not aware the money was in the box.

The man is described as Caucasian, 50-55 years old, with shorter dark but greying hair, clean shaven, and was wearing a dark T-shirt and camouflage shorts.

The woman is also Caucasian, 50-55 years old, with light brown shoulder-length hair with large curls and glasses. She was wearing a dark pink T-shirt and shorts.

Phone Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
