Firefighters and police were called out to a crash at a busy Langley intersection on Friday at the start of the afternoon rush hour.

A red sedan turning left at the corner of 204th Street and 64th Avenue collided with a cement truck.

Langley Township firefighters on the scene supported the neck of the woman at the wheel of the sedan while waiting for an ambulance.

The woman was taken to Langley Memorial to be checked out, but does not seem to have been seriously injured, said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The cement truck driver was not hurt.
