Langley residents’ hunger will help kids take part in sports.

The fifth annual Triple O’s KidSport Day recently raised more than $4,000 for the local program that helps families in need afford to put their kids in sports.

On KidSport Day, Triple O’s donated a Loonie from the sale of every combo to a local KidSport chapter. Cash donations were also accepted throughout the month.

Since it started, the fundraiser has brought in more than $139,000.

KidSport Day 2014 brought in $46,527 at the 32 Triple O’s around B.C.

As well the National Legion Track & Field Championships gave $5,000 to the Langley chapter of KidSport BC to support Triple O’s fifth annual fundraiser.
