A man still got his hair cut shortly after an elderly driver jumped the curb and crashed into the front entrance of a Langley City barber shop on Monday afternoon.
Around noon, the senior driver jumped the curb and his red PT Cruiser drove into the glass front of the Country Barber in the 20500 block of 56 Avenue. No one was injured. The driver was checked out and is OK. Police offered him water while they spoke to him.
There have been several occasions of late where elderly drivers have crashed into businesses in Langley.
The most notable was on May 13, when an elderly driver mistook the gas for the brake, slamming his SUV into the lunch hour crowd at Nature Fare's bistro. Four people were injured, two seriously.
That same week, a woman drove into the concrete barrier at a jewelry store in Willoughby. In February, an elderly woman drove into the BCAA office on Langley Bypass
