Mission RCMP took a man and woman into custody on Tuesday (April 9) evening after receiving a report of a man who made comments about using an illegal handgun in his possession.
According to a Mission RCMP news release, the man was living in a motorhome parked on Teal Street. The Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team assisted with a search warrant due to the nature of the call.
Police say the search warrant was successfully executed in the evening, resulting in a man and woman from inside the motorhome being taken into custody. No charges have been laid.
Mission RCMP say a search of the motorhome will be carried out Wednesday (April 10) and there is no indication of an ongoing risk to the public.
