Police in Surrey are trying to piece things together after a 25-year-old man was dropped off at hospital with a gunshot wound on Wednesday morning (Sept. 27).

Police say they were called at 9:30 a.m. after the shooting victim, who is “well known to police,” was dropped off.

The Surrey RCMP say investigators are working to figure out what happened and where. Police say a possible scene was identified but it has not been confirmed as “further investigation is required.”

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or CrimeStoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or solvecrime.ca.
