Nothing is confirmed, but one thing is for certain: there’s going to be a Giant announcement Tuesday morning at the Langley Events Centre.

The Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants are holding a press conference at the LEC on May 3.

There is speculation that the the Giants will be moving to Langley, starting next fall.

If true, this will be the Giants’ second go-round at the LEC.

They played six games in the LEC's arena bowl (which has a capacity of 5,276) between Jan. 30 and Feb. 14 of 2010, with the Pacific Coliseum being used for the Winter Olympics.

The LEC is already home to the junior A Langley Rivermen, who compete in the B.C. Hockey League.

The Rivermen were introduced in June 2011, after the former Langley Chiefs moved back to Chilliwack.

The Vancouver Stealth also call the LEC home.

Their next National Lacrosse League season kicks off in January 2017.
