But with the humidex temperatures will reach 29 C and 34 C inland, according to the weather agency.

Monday will be sunny and overnight weather will be clear with temperatures reaching a low of 16 C.

Sunrise on Monday is 5:37 a.m. and sunset at 9:57 p.m.

Region-wide watering restrictions have been in effect since May.

The Township of Langley and City of Langley are under Stage 1 of Metro Vancouver’s water restrictions, which come into effect each year from May 1 to October 15.

“In the summertime, water use can increase by up to 50 per cent, much of which is from lawn watering,” said Chris Combe with the Township’s sustainability department.

“Limiting the days and times lawns may be watered helps conserve our shared water supply and prevents potential shortages if the region experiences an extended dry spell,” he added.

Under current Stage 1, residents with even street addresses can water their lawns between 4 to 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Those in odd numbered properties can water during the same hours on Thursday and Sunday mornings.

In the case of multi-unit complexes, the complex address, not unit number, determines watering days.

Owners of non-residential properties with even addresses can water lawns from 1 to 6 a.m. on Mondays, and those with odd addresses on Tuesdays. All non-residential addresses can water lawns on Fridays from 4 to 9 a.m.
