City councillor Paul Albrecht has decided not to run for mayor but will still go after a council seat.

“I have given this considerable thought over the past few weeks and feel that it is the right thing to do for both the community and my family. If re-elected, the opportunity to gain additional experience and knowledge is too great for me to ignore,” he said.

He is just finishing up his first term on Langley City council and wants to continue on.

“We are entering an exciting era for Langley City with great opportunities that I want to be part of,” Albrecht said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished these past four years but there is so much more to be done.”
