Langley Township fire crews are dealing with a structure fire at an old fashioned looking building at 230th Street and Fraser Highway.

The building has been a garage and restaurant and used by film crews.

The fire closed all or part of Fraser Highway well into the mid-afternoon.

The investigation into the cause of the fire was still underway, but the building did have a marijuana grow operation, with a license for 30 plants for medical use.

There were also a number of butane cylinders inside, said assistant fire chief Bruce Ferguson.

The owner of the property was on scene. A home on the site was not damage.

It's not the building's first fire.

Back when it was located at the 23600 Block of Fraser Highway and known as Horseman Roadhouse Restaurant, one of the two buildings connected by a breezeway burned down New Year's Day 2003. That fire was considered suspicious.
